The Doctor of Indoor Air !

We recently asked Air and Heat Hospital to give us an estimate for adding a third vent coming into my home office because the office was constantly 6 to 8 degrees hotter than the near-by rooms. David stated there was some of air flow coming into the office. He pointed out that the old-style metal ducts were not connected in some places and were held together only by the insulation wrapped around it. He could put his hand into one duct where the insulation was loose. His suggestion was to replace all the duct-work and move the return vents from the side walls in the hall to the ceiling because of air leakage from the walls to the attic. We had him do what he proposed. He also sealed off the old return in the wall both at the top and at the bottom. The results were amazing! We really hadn’t expected such a dramatic improvement. I had never been able to even feel the air on from the far-away duct in my office. I noticed immediately with the new ducts that air was turning pages in a catalog I had left open on a nearby table. The air is also about 10 degrees cooler. In fact we also are setting the thermostat higher. we have not had time to tell how much it will lower our electric bill, but I expect the change to be dramatic. I knew the ducts were in very bad condition, but had no idea it was as bad as it was. While it was somewhat expensive, it was less than I had expected. And I believe that it will pay for itself in the near future. We should have done it years ago.

To whom it may concern,

I would like to personally recommend David Meyerowitz of Air & Heat Hospital for any future projects either with the goverment of private industry. I worked with Mr Meyerowitz at the AIT Barracks projects at Ft. Sill, OK for approximatley one year. During this time he went to extraordinary lenths to ensure the commissioning process of the Heating ,Ventalation and Air Conditioning (HVAC)system went as smoothly as possible.

Mr Meyerowitz worked with me and other goverment employees to ensure that all mechanical HVAC systems were installed and performed per the manufacturer's specifications and that were thoroughly tested. He personaly tested all systems prior to calling for goverment inspections, thereby eliminating almost all deficiencies.

His knowledge of HVAC systems and testing procedures was invaluable in ensuring the mechanical systems were operational in a timely matter to allow the soldiers to move in on time. He would be a great addition to any construction team and would ensure that the HVAC systems would be installed and tested to support the project to be completed on time and under budget.

Sincerely,

We have 6 houses (5 rentals and our own home) that we have entrusted to the care of Air & Heat Hospital for over 16 years. When the heat or air has gone out in any of our houses, a phone call to Air & Heat Hospital is all that is necessary. They are quick and competent.

We have had furnaces and air conditioners replaced. The installers are pleasant and do an excellent job. We have always been pleased with all the work they have done for us. We have also taken advantage of David's service contracts on all of our houses to ensure smooth running of all systems and to prevent any surprises.

I heard the ad on krld radio and called Air Heat Hospital and after having several different estimates from other companys to replace all three a/c systems in my home, David the owner made several visits to my home to ensure my needs were met. And he personaly drove me to one of his customers that recently purchaced an a/c system . He wanted to make sure it was exacxtly what i wanted, knowing the money i was going to invest. Even after that i did more research. and Air & Heat Hospital was by far the best deal i have found and and the best customer service i have seen. After the installation of my new a/c was completed i am completely satisfied. I would reccommend David with Air & Heat Hospital to any one .

Quality Will Recommend Price for Value Summary: Great company

Review: Dave, the owner, came out to tell me about the A/C and Heat, before I purchaced it. He was very nice, and explained everything about how it would work. His installers were very efficient and courteous.

After it was installed, Dave came out to make sure all was ok and I was satisfied. I would highly recommend his company, for price and for the people you deal with.

David,

Thanks for the great job you and your team did for my home. The installers worked 12 hours yesterday so as to finish their part in one day. Everything works well and the attic looks as I was wanting it to look. The ducting runs are efficient and are hung from the rafters. One can actually move around the attic. Which is extremely important to me as I have more work to do up there.

I compared the two blower door tests and see that the loss of air through the ducting improved greatly, but that we improved overall from 17 daily air exchanges to only 16. We absolutely must and will do something about the can lights. Will close other holes also, such as electrical outlets, plumbing, windows/doors and attic access door. Will also add insulation after the electrician cleans up the wiring and I clean up the mess from the original wooden shingle roof and other trash up there. When all that is finished I will want another blower door test.

Again, thanks to you and your crew!

Yours,
